G·U·M Toothpaste for 7-12 Years (Soft Mint)
POINT 1. Fluoride + Isomalt provide 4X PROTECTION* for Stronger Teeth
Formulated with Fluoride to restore minerals in the enamel which are lost when acids produced by bacteria interact with the teeth, to keep your teeth strong and protected. Isomalt is also added to help reduce mineral loss due to this acid attack. With the combination of Fluoride and Isomalt, this toothpaste can provide 4X protection for stronger teeth as compared with normal fluoride toothpastes.
POINT 2. Soft Mint Flavour as transition flavour
Soft-Mint is a less bitter, less sweet and slightly minty flavour which is intended for the older children of ages 7 to 12 years as a transition flavour before they use adult’s strong mint toothpaste.
POINT 3. Made in Japan

FAQ
FAQ
Answer
Yes, our toothpastes are formulated with fluoride. Fluoride is important to prevent cavities by strengthening the mineral crystals in the tooth’s enamel, which is the outermost layer of the teeth that protects them from decay. The enamel is made stronger and harder when fluoride is incorporated and thus the tooth becomes more resistant to the acid attack that causes cavities.
Answer
Isomalt is a non-cariogenic sweetener. When used in combination with fluoride at the right amount, it can boost the remineralization rate of the minerals lost due to the acids from bacteria to up to 4 times* as compared with normal fluoride toothpaste alone.
Answer
It is a light mint flavour suitable for children before they transition to adult’s strong mint toothpaste. With a less bitter and less sweet taste, this flavour is perfect for children who want to graduate from their children toothpaste.
Answer
Children of 6 years and under should use a pea-sized amount with supervised brushing to minimize swallowing. From 7 years old onwards, children can use the same amount as an adult. Toothbrushing with fluoride toothpaste should be performed at least twice a day. *J. Dental Health 2001; 51:516-517
